You will have the entire 1350 sq ft main play area (Cub Run) for your own group!
Available for birthday parties, events, or private play dates!

At Honey Joe's we believe in simple fun! Kids have a blast just playing with their friends uninterrupted and adults are free to sip their coffee and socialize. We will hang up a Happy Birthday Sign on the bridge for decoration and a paper lantern garland in the entryway! Our staff will deliver food and beverages to the play area, but allow you to sing Happy Birthday and cut the cake yourselves for a more personal touch!

Party slots are on Weekends only
12:45pm - 2:45pm
3:30pm - 5:30pm

$370 party venue fee for up to 50 total people for 2 hours
Includes 2 Drop in Play Vouchers for the birthday kid

*Additional $20 fee per additional birthday kid (for additional surprise birthday gift).

*$150 non-refundable deposit required to reserve (deposit is applied to the total party fee).

Cancellation policy: If at least 2 weeks notice of cancellation is given in writing via email then the deposit may be applied to another rental date within 2 months of the initial date pending availability. If cancellation within 2 weeks of the reservation the deposit will be forfeited.

Parties must be booked at minimum 1 week in advance of the event date. We are unable to accommodate requests the week of the event.

Included in the Party Venue Fee:
2 private hours in the large play area (The Cub Run) for up to 50 people of your choosing!
Cleaning and set up of the play area prior to your party
Staffing for food/drink orders during the party
Cleaning of the play area after the party
We provide a few decorations that we hang for the party, as well as tableware.
2 Drop in Play vouchers to be used at drop in play hours
Honey Joe's Rewards points for final payment in store at the end of the party!

FAQ

Q: Sounds great! How can I book?
A: Check to see what dates & times are available with the link above. Then email info@honeyjoescoffee.com with your preferred date/time and we will respond as soon as possible! All party bookings are done via email.

Q: How do I pay the deposit?
A: You will receive an invoice via email through our Point of Sale system, Clover, which is payable online. As soon as the deposit is received, we will confirm your reservation! We will hold your time slot for 24 hours. Deposit must be paid in 24 hours or your spot will be released. The remaining party fee balance is due at checkout from the party on the day of the event.

Q: How many people can I have at the party?
A: Up to a maximum of 50 total people. Total number of people includes babies, kids, adults, the birthday kid and their attending parents!

Q: Can I bring my own food/drink/snacks?
A: No outside food or beverage is allowed. The only exception is 1 pre-approved dessert item for birthday celebrations. Must be shelf stable. No ice cream cakes. No Smash Cakes. NO OTHER EXCEPTIONS.

Q: Can I bring alcoholic beverages?
A: No. We do not have a liquor license and therefore can not have any alcoholic beverages on premises. BYOB is not an option.

Q: What food is available?
A: We have put together a few party food packages at a discounted rate, which can be seen below. No changes or modifications are allowed for the party food packages. All of our menu items are available a la carte for parties. We require an advanced order of at least 72 hours prior to the party. Our cheese and pepperoni flatbread pizzas are popular choices for the kids! Prices can be seen by going through the online order system. The food is served as a self-serve buffet in the play area. Many groups decide to run a tab at the coffee bar for their guests' drinks. Just let us know your plan! Food and drinks are not included in the party fee.

Q: Is gratuity included?
A: No. Tip is not included in the party or food fees, but is greatly appreciated by our staff as they work hard to prepare, cook, serve, and clean up the food, drinks, and play area.

Q: Can I decorate the play area?
A: We encourage eco-friendly parties that minimize disposable decorations. We will put up a Happy Birthday sign and a paper lantern garland that we can re-use for each party!
No Pinatas, confetti, or glitter permitted (including confetti or glitter inside of balloons). Other decorations are allowed as long as there are no adhesives or tape attaching to walls, windows, or play structures. Any decoration brought in MUST be removed by you by the end of the rental period. Though we encourage parties to just come and enjoy the space as is and let the kids play for the full session!

Q: Can I come early to decorate?
A: Early access to the play area is not guaranteed as we clean between sessions. Your party fee covers the 2 hour rental. You must consider set up and break down time in your rental time slot. We encourage parties to just come and enjoy the space as is and let the kids play! If you need additional time you may contact us to arrange a longer party - longer parties must cover the base party fee for 2 party slots.

Q: Can I bring outside entertainment?
A: While we find kids enjoy uninterrupted play in the play area, outside entertainment is allowed as long as they meet the following requirements. Please inform us via email what entertainment you plan to book for our final approval!
1. Entertainment is included in your total headcount
2. They take out whatever they bring in
3. Sound is not too loud and disruptive to the rest of the coffee bar
4. No possible damage to the play equipment or safety flooring (ie. we do not allow crafts in the play area)
5. Proof of their own insurance is provided to Honey Joe's.

Q. Can I book more than 2 hours?
A: Longer parties will have to cover the cost of 2 parties with a $740 base party fee with access to the play area from 12:45pm - 5:30pm. This option requires a double deposit of $300.

Q: Can I book a morning party?
A: No. Mornings are reserved for drop in play.

Q: Do we need to bring our own tableware?
A: As we are a restaurant, we have all necessary plates/cups/utensils. If you prefer disposables, or a theme, then you would need to bring your own. Make sure to remember a candle for the cake!
